DEI in Manufacturing Webinar

On Monday, March 30, 2022 Michelle Burris with The Century Foundation presented to the AMCC Monday Morning Call Group about the DEI in Manufacturing. She first started by going over the problem, which consisted of the manufacturing industry having two million unfilled jobs by 2030, manufacturing being 67% white (non-Hispanic) and 70% male, along with a couple other problems being faced. Michelle displayed a map of the 13 community colleges selected for more adults of color. Audra Ladd with UMA also spoke on The Urban Manufacturing Alliance as parts of the solution.
