Michelle Burris with The Century Foundation hosts this week’s national AMCC community call. Hiwot Gebremariam from the U.S. Department of Defense’s Office of Local Defense Community Cooperation (OLDCC) joined to discuss a new notice of funding opportunity within the Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program (DMCSP).
After, AMCC’s Matt Bogoshian led a roundtable discussion focused on sharing strategies that community leaders use to identify and prioritize federal funding opportunities. With the recent proliferation in federal programs focused on revitalizing manufacturing through a community-driven approach, AMCC regions are constantly working to improve their ability to pursue opportunities within their capacity.
