AMCC’s Matt Bogoshian Reviews EDA’s RFI on the Tech and Innovation Hub Program

On Tuesday, AMCC’s Executive Director, Matt Bogoshian, convened regional stakeholders to review the U.S. EDA’s Request for Information on the Implementation of the Regional Technology and Innovation Hub Program.

$500 million has been made available to launch the Tech Hubs Program, which is an economic development initiative to drive technology- and innovation-centric growth that leverages existing R&D strengths and technology demonstration and deployment capacities (public and private) within a region to catalyze the creation of good jobs for American workers at all skill levels equitably and inclusively.

AMCC communities are no strangers to this type of bottom-up, community-driven approach to spurring innovation and manufacturing capacity building across the country. Through past and current programs, including IMCP, DMCSP, BBBRC and others, regional stakeholders in AMCC’s network are the best equipped to provide EDA with relevant feedback, experience and case studies to inform the structure and deployment of the program.
