Special Presentation: Utah MEP-Alliance Shares its Collaborative Model

Utah MEP Center Director Steve Black joined AMCC’s Monday call to share their region’s efforts to get more aligned and collaborate through an alliance of several organizations.

Utah MEP made a significant shift in their organizational model in early 2020, moving away from a center that provided many services to a collaborative model that leaned on the expertise of other stakeholders in the region. Through this approach, Utah MEP has become a systems leader in their state, which has driven a marked increase in collaboration between all members and has doubled the number of partners that Utah MEP can support.

“We [Utah MEP Alliance] all serve the same group of people. What we’ve done is divide up the offerings into swim lanes. We try to make it as seamless as possible for our clients to move between our respective groups.”

Steve’s slides are available to download here.
