Special Presentation: NIIT’s National Talent Development Pipeline

Thank you to Mike Russo and Robert Weinman with the National Institute of Innovation & Technology (NIIT) for joining AMCC’s National Monday Call to share their programs that are building tomorrow’s workforce. NIIT is a 501c3 with a mission to broaden and build the talent pipeline to support strategic industries and their supply chains. NIIT is fully funded and provides services at no-cost to individuals, educational institutions and employers who participate in NIIT’s GAINS Registered Apprenticeship Program.

Russo and Weinman shared their National Talent Hub program, which is a cloud-based tool that provides skill transparency across employers, training providers and talent. NIIT has also stoop up a registered apprenticeship program in the Semiconductor and Nanotechnology space, and is working on the deployment of Career Opportunity Hubs to help regional stakeholders leverage their other assets to provide opportunities for jobseekers.

A copy of their slides can be found here. Reach out should you like to get connected to Russo and Weinman.
