Overview of DOE OTT’s MAKE IT and EPIC Competitions

Thanks to new BFFs from DOE’s Office of Technology Transition (OTT) Rebecca Szymkowicz and Matt O’Brien for sharing their MAKE IT and EPIC prize competitions. 

The Manufacture of Advanced Key Energy Infrastructure Technologies (MAKE IT) has $30M available to catalyze domestic manufacturing of clean energy technology components, with two fundings tracks 1) Facilities and 2) Strategies. Read more here

Also, their Energy Program for Innovation Clusters (EPIC) program is now in its third award round with $4M available for “incubator organizations” to support energy cluster development.

More federal opportunities that regions should be aware of to bring success and growth to their local manufacturers!
