Thank you to Research Engineer Carver Middleton with Mississippi State University’s Athlete Engineering program for joining this past Monday call to share their successes implementing the Advancement in Manufacturing Upskilling Program (AiM UP) which seeks to improve the state’s manufacturing workforce. Carver shared their intentional effort for the initiative to be industry-driven and managed by a collaborative group of workforce partners between the university and community colleges. Carver described this collaboration as “Operate Independently, Compete Collectively” so that all organizations in the partnership are advancing a unified vision of success.
