Listen to What's America's Purpose podcast!
In our continuous efforts to play a more meaningful role in advancing the work of AMCC and the American project, we often talk about advancing America’s purpose to mean advancing sustainable development and its four elements: economic competitiveness, DEIA, environmental sustainability, and national security.
As such, to unwrap the meaning of America’s purpose in advance of the nation’s 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and mostly during COVID, I had the privilege of interviewing a wide range of American leaders on the topic from many walks of life. These compelling archived interviews are with over twenty public, private, and non-profit sector leaders; entrepreneurs, historians, writers, teachers, lawyers and organizers and others who give us their take on what IS America’s Purpose.
They are as ripe today as ever including discussions with former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, Harvard’s Marshall Ganz, and University of Michigan’s Andrew J. Hoffman as well as activists and innovators like Mustafa Santiago Ali and Jenna Nicholas, and many more.
Check them out below, enjoy, and let us know what you think is America’s Purpose.
Onward!
Matt
